i think i am arriving now

i think i am arriving now is a video response to a process developed under the Fall 2021 cohort of artists with TheRedProjectNYC. The question that the film considers is: What is the distance of love? the film expands on previous notions of friendship, community, and daily joy. 

the work considers what it means to try to exist in a time of political, personal, and world upheaval, grappling with feelings of meaninglessness, isolation, and horror. what does a body under pressure read as? if nothing is certain, where do we choose to direct our energy?
